Residents in New Tecumseth are being reminded that Town facilities will operate on modified hours during the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 18th.
The adjusted schedule will affect Town Hall, recreation centres and the Museum on the Boyne. Residents are encouraged to check facility schedules in advance before visiting over the long weekend.
The Town is also reminding residents to celebrate responsibly if using fireworks. Officials say fireworks are not permitted in Town parks, on streets or on property not owned by the person setting them off. Residents are also being asked to be mindful of neighbours, pets, and the surrounding community.
Town officials are wishing residents a safe and enjoyable Victoria Day long weekend.
