A 56-year-old man from Springwater Township is facing a dangerous driving charge following a reported road rage incident involving a group of motorcyclists in Barrie.
Barrie Police began investigating on Wednesday, May 13th after receiving an online traffic complaint and video footage connected to an incident that happened the previous afternoon around 2:30 p.m.
The video showed a pickup truck swerving toward a motorcycle travelling on Bayfield Street near Hanmer Street. After a verbal exchange between the driver and another motorcyclist, the truck was allegedly driven dangerously toward a second motorcycle.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators with the Barrie Police Traffic Unit later identified the pickup truck driver, who has since been charged with dangerous operation.
