Residents, businesses and visitors in New Tecumseth will soon have access to a redesigned municipal website aimed at improving how users find information and access Town services online.
The Town of New Tecumseth says its new website is scheduled to launch at the end of June and has been completely rebuilt to provide a more modern, accessible and user-friendly experience.
According to the Town, the new platform will feature improved navigation based on how people search for information, a refreshed visual design, enhanced search capabilities and a built-in accessibility widget to support a more inclusive online experience.
A key feature of the new website will be SETH, short for Search & Explore Town Helper. The interactive digital assistant is designed to help users quickly locate information, services and municipal updates in real time.
Town officials say the website launch is only the first phase of a broader digital modernization effort. Future enhancements are expected to include self-service portals, simplified online payments, web-based forms and interactive mapping tools to make it easier for residents to interact with municipal services online.
As part of the rollout, the Town plans to launch a community survey this fall to gather feedback from users and identify opportunities for future improvements.
Additional information about the new website will be released as the launch date approaches.
