A temporary no-fly zone is now in effect over and around the Nottawasaga Resort & Conference Centre in Alliston as the property serves as Team Panama’s base camp for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The restriction is in place until July 7th, and covers the area surrounding the resort at 6015 Highway 89.
Officials are reminding residents and drone operators that unauthorized drone flights are prohibited within the restricted area. Anyone found operating a drone without authorization could face fines and other enforcement action.
