The Town of New Tecumseth is advising residents that the installation of permanent asphalt speed cushions on Shephard Avenue has been delayed.
In the meantime, temporary speed humps will be reinstalled to help address speeding concerns in the area. The temporary traffic calming measures will remain in place until the permanent speed cushions can be installed.
The Town anticipates the temporary speed humps will be installed between Monday, July 13th and Friday, 17th, weather permitting.
Officials say updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
