One person was taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Innisfil yesterday morning.
South Simcoe Police responded to the crash at around 11:05 a.m. on Monday, July 6th at the intersection of Yonge Street and 5th Line.
A female (age not provided) involved in the collision was transported to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The collision prompted the closure of Yonge Street between 4th Line and 5th Line and 5th Line between 10th Sideroad and 20th Sideroad for about three hours while officers investigated the scene. The roads reopened at approximately 2:00 p.m.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police have not released any additional details.
South Simcoe Police are reminding motorists to drive attentively, maintain a safe following distance, and adjust their driving to changing road and traffic conditions.
