Residents and motorists are being advised of temporary road closures this week as the County of Simcoe completes asphalt paving on Line 9 and Line 10 near County Road 4.
The scheduled closures include:
- Line 9 (east of County Road 4) – Tuesday, July 14th and Friday, July 17th
- Line 9 (west of County Road 4) – Wednesday, July 15th and Friday, July 17th
- Line 10 (west of County Road 4) – Wednesday, July 15th and Friday, July 17th
County Road 4 will remain open to through traffic during the work, with signed detour routes directing motorists around the closures. Construction is weather dependent and dates may change if necessary.
Residents within the construction area may experience temporary interruptions to driveway access while paving is underway. Impacted property owners will be contacted in advance to coordinate vehicle access where required.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted detour and construction signage while the road improvements are completed.
