The Alliston Hornets announced the recipients of their annual team awards.
Following a dominant regular season in 2024-2025 in which they won 40 of 42 games, the Hornets struggled to find their stride in parts of the 2025-2026 season. They still managed to make the playoffs with a 32-10-0-0 record, finishing 2nd in the PJHL Carruthers Division. Their season came to an end with a Division Finals series loss against the Stayner Siskins.
With the off-season underway, the Hornets have shared their latest award winners:
- Regular Season & Playoff MVP: Nick Lamont
- Top Goalie: Riley Arts
- Top Defensive Player: Noah Cochrane
- Top Defensive Forward: Will Millington
- Rookie of the Year: Noah Larmon
- Most Improved Player: Lucas Bell
- The Dougie Award: David Harvey
- Most Sportsmanlike: Duncan Grube
The Hornets are looking for game day volunteers for next season. Duties would cover 50/50 sales, ticket sales, door greeters, merchandise, general game day, and support. Interested applicants can apply by emailing Ken.cowen@zing-net.ca.
