Young writers have the chance to showcase their creativity as the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s annual Short Story Contest is underway.
The contest is open to students entering Grades 3 to 12 this fall and invites participants to submit an original work of creative fiction for a chance to win prizes, including the Seepe Walters Award, a $500 cash grand prize.
This year’s entries will be judged by published author Paul Coccia, known for books including The Bear Fairy, Recommended Reading, On the Line, Leon Levels Up, and I Got You Babe.
You’ll have plenty of time to write the perfect story as the submission deadline is Friday, December 18th, at midnight. Entries can be submitted online.
