Stevenson Memorial Hospital has introduced its new Board of Directors.
The group of community leaders will provide governance oversight as the hospital moves through a period of renewal and growth. They are:
- Jeff French, Chair, Board of Directors
- Feria Bacchus, Member, Board of Directors
- Sanjay Dhebar, Member, Board of Directors
- Nicole Ivison, Member, Board of Directors
- Rory MacKinnon, Member, Board of Directors
- Michael Miceli, Member, Board of Directors
- Deanne Minns, Member, Board of Directors
- John Nzioka, Member, Board of Directors
- Michael Willmott, Member, Board of Directors
This new Board brings experience in governance, finance, health care and community leadership, along with strong connections to New Tecumseth, South Simcoe and surrounding communities.
The group of nine will work with hospital leadership to advance strategic priorities, support operational excellence and guide the construction of a new, expanded hospital facility designed to meet the needs of the growing community.
SMH President and CEO Deepak Sharma says the new directors bring the leadership and health-system knowledge needed to help build the future of health care close to home.
Board Chair Jeff French says the group is committed to ensuring decisions remain focused on the needs of patients, families, staff, professional staff and volunteers.
