Two labour organizations are making a combined $250,000 contribution toward the redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
Local 27 and Local 675 have committed the funds through the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Because of YOU Campaign, supporting the construction of a new, modern hospital serving South Simcoe and surrounding communities.
The Foundation says the contribution reflects the Locals’ commitment to strengthening the communities where their members live and work. Representatives from both Locals recently joined Foundation leadership for a cheque presentation marking the donation.
Stevenson Memorial Hospital is undergoing a major redevelopment that will expand patient care capacity, modernize services and better meet the needs of the region’s growing population.
