The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation is inviting artists of all ages to submit original artwork for its 2026 holiday cards.
The Foundation is looking for artwork inspired by the holiday season, the community or Stevenson Memorial Hospital. Holiday-themed submissions are encouraged, while artwork incorporating healthcare, Stevenson Memorial Hospital or community themes is also welcome.
Artists can use any visual art medium, including drawing, painting, illustration, collage, mixed media, digital art and photography. Submissions must be original work created by the person entering the contest, and AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.
Artwork must be 8.5 by 11 inches, with bright and cheerful colours encouraged. Submissions cannot include words, lettering, names, logos or messages, and each person may submit one piece of artwork.
The contest is open to everyone, including children, youth, adults, seniors, patients, families, staff, volunteers and community members. Artists under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian for their submission to be used.
Four winners will be selected, one from each age group:
- 0-5
- 6-13
- 14-17
- 18 and older
The winning artwork from each category will be featured on Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation holiday cards, with each winner also receiving a prize and recognition from the Foundation.
