Innisfil residents can now learn more about the candidates running in the 2026 municipal and school board election through a new online Candidate Showcase launched by the Town.
The showcase features the names of each certified candidate and, where provided, a brief biography, headshot and contact information. This can include phone numbers, email addresses, campaign websites and social media accounts. The Town says each candidate was given an equal opportunity to participate.
Voting in Innisfil’s municipal election will take place online or by phone. Eligible voters will receive voter information letters by mail in October containing their individual voting PINs and voting instructions. A PIN will be required to access the voting system and cast a ballot.
Voting opens October 16th, at 10:00 a.m. and closes on election day on October 26th at 8:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to confirm or update their voter information before October 24th, at 3:00 p.m. using the Town’s online voter information tool. Voters can also update their information at Town Hall during regular operating hours or at an Election Service Centre during the voting period.
