The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) is seeking representatives from local agencies, associations and organizations to serve on its Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC).
This committee provides advice to the school board on matters related to the establishment, development and delivery of special education programs and services. SEAC members also participate in the board’s annual review of its special education plan, the annual budget process as it relates to special education, and review of the board’s financial statements concerning special education.
Interested representatives must be Canadian citizens, at least 18 years old, residents within Simcoe County, public school electors and not employed by the SCDSB.
Associations interested in nominating a local representative and an alternate representative must submit their applications by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6th.
