The Town’s Youth Team is transforming the Youth Recreation Centre into the “Nightmare on Colborne Street.”
This haunted house runs nightly from October 20th to October 24th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Youth Recreation Centre at 226 Colborne Street. Admission is $3 cash-only, with all ages welcome.
Visitors can choose between two scare levels. The Less Scary experience runs from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. with the lights on and no jump scares, while the Scarier experience runs from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with darker conditions and staff actively jumping out.
A food booth will operate October 21st to October 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering hotdogs, popcorn and drinks for an additional cost while supplies last. A free photobooth will also be available on Friday, October 23rd.
The attraction features strobe lighting, loud noises and jump scares that may not be suitable for all visitors. Participation is at your own risk, and guests acknowledge and accept these potential risks by entering.
“Nightmare on Colborne Street has become a favourite Halloween tradition for many BWG families and youth,” says N’Diia Maharaj, Recreation Supervisor. “We love creating an experience that allows everyone to participate, whether they’re looking for spooky fun or a full haunted house thrill.”
