A section of Lakeshore Boulevard in Innisfil will close this week as part of the Town’s Bayshore Road Drainage Improvements project.
The closure will begin on Lakeshore Boulevard between Bayshore Road and North Shore Drive at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14th. It will run until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16th, weather permitting. Crews will be replacing a cross culvert during this time.
The broader project includes roadway and culvert replacements, ditch clearing and regrading, road reconstruction, upgrades to an existing outlet and construction of a new outlet at Bayshore Road Park.
Residents may experience temporary driveway restrictions as heavy machinery passes through the area, along with noise, dust and other construction-related disruptions.
Access will be maintained for emergency services, and detours will be in place. Drivers are asked to use caution and follow posted detour signs.
