Residents of CFB Borden and Angus are being advised to expect loud noises during the upcoming Remembrance Day ceremony.
According to a public service announcement issued by National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces, blank artillery rounds will be fired on Wednesday, November 11th, at 11:00 a.m. and 11:02 a.m.
Residents in the surrounding area can expect to hear loud percussive sounds followed by echoes, which may startle people nearby.
The Remembrance Day ceremony will take place at Borden Legacy Park, located at the intersection of Highway 10 and Mill Street, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Parking will be available at the Angus Arena and Rainbow Mall.
