The Alliston Ribfest is back on.
The three day event was scheduled for the weekend of June 7-9 at Riverdale Park but a timing problem with the application with Nottawasaga OPP for paid duty police led to organizers pulling the plug.
That was then, this is now.
Nottawasaga OPP, on behalf of the Town of New Tecumseth, sent out a press release Wednesday morning (jul 17) stating the new dates for Alliston Ribfest will be Friday September 20 to Sunday September 22.
myFM has reached Ontario Festival Group President and Ribfest Ricky Brooks but at this time we have not heard back from him.
