Businesses in South Simcoe, struggling in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, can now apply for funding being made available under a new initiative.
Nottawasaga Futures CEO Martin Kuzma says loans of up to $40,000 will be made to “main street” businesses through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund.
The funding will be made in available in the form of an interest free loan, with no payments necessary until December of 2022.
Kuzma says this will give business owners a chance to concentrate on re-opening rather than paying money back to the government.
