Heidi’s Walk continues this week in Orangeville.
The walk honours the legacy of Heidi Lee Ferguson , and hopes to raise awareness and prevent future violence against women.
We caught up with Brennan Solecky, Manager of Development & Community Relations at Family Transition Place, to talk more about the goal of Heidi’s Walk.
This years virtual 5 km walk, run or bike runs until September 19th.
The goal this year is to raise $10,000 in support of Family Transition Place’s programs and services.
So Orangeville, whether you’re walking up and down Broadway, or taking the scenic route through Island Lake, lets do what we can to support this incredible cause.
Together, we can make a difference.
