The Municipality of Essa has opened their boat launch for the season.
The accessible canoe and kayak launch is located on the west side of the Nottawasaga River beside the Angus Community Park on Huron St.
There are no fees to use launch.
It is un staffed and residents are encouraged to use caution.
This is the only boat launch in Essa.
It officially opened last year on May 18.
