A Newmarket man is facing charges after a child was mauled by 3 dogs.
The 9 year old girl and her father had attended a residence to look at puppies (jul27), when 3 dogs rushed out of the house and attacked the girl.
The child was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
York Regional Police say a 68 year old Newmarket man is now facing a number of charges including Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm.
The child has been released from hospital and is recovering at home.
The dogs have since been surrendered and euthanized.
