You will have to hang onto your garbage for an extra day next week.
The County of Simcoe will not be doing curbside waste collection on either Christmas Day (dec25) or New Year’s Day (jan1).
This means that Monday routes will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesday routes on Wednesday and so on…
Drop-off Facilities will also be closed December 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
Then beginning January 2, the County will start collecting your old Christmas trees.
Residents are asked to put their trees out on the Monday of garbage collection week.
That service will run between the 2 and the 26.
