Police are reminding residents that No Ice is Safe Ice, after an off-road vehicle ended up in the water yesterday (jan30) afternoon.
The vehicle went through the ice on Lake Simcoe between Beaverton and Brechin.
A rescue operation involving the OPP Aviation Services and an airboat from Ramara Fire began.
The individuals were located and brought to shore safely and without injury.
Police advise residents to be aware of ice conditions prior to heading out.
