Barrie police are searching for five suspects after a man was assaulted in that city’s downtown Saturday (feb3) night.
Police say the assault took place near the spirit catcher on the waterfront around 9 o’clock.
Police indicate four people attacked a man with objects similar to baseball bats while a fifth person watched.
The victim sustained serious injuries.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.
