
It’s going to be noisy in Angus and Borden this weekend.
The Canadian Army will be conducting an Assault Pioneer Demolition Exercise at Canadian Forces Base Borden on Saturday and Sunday (mar16-17).
Assault Pioneers primarily use explosives to clear paths and create entranceways for units they are supporting during operations.
The purpose of the exercise is to qualify Assault Pioneers in the employment of explosives.
Residents in the surrounding areas may hear explosions and loud blasts.
All safety regulations and protocols are be followed to ensure the public and members of the Canadian Armed Forces are safe at all times.
