Police have upgraded the charges against a 26, East Gwillimbury resident to Second Degree Murder and Indignity to a Dead Body.
The charges are in connection to the death of Ying Zhang.
Human remains discovered by the Search and Rescue Team in Kawartha Lakes on Monday (jul29), have been confirmed to be that of the Missing Markham woman.
The charges follow an earlier investigation that included the search for a white Ford van and a suspect seen with a large green wheeled bin.
