A Bradford man is facing charges after he reportedly exposed himself to the public.
On Monday, May 5th, South Simcoe Police responded to concerns that a male was fully exposing himself to members of the public from his residence near St. Marie of the Incarnation Catholic School in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
An investigation was conducted, and the suspect was subsequently identified as a 69-year-old Bradford man. As a result of the investigation, the accused faces Criminal Code charges of:
- Indecent Act Section 173(1)
- Nudity Section 174(1)
The accused was released on an undertaking with a court date of June 5th.
The South Simcoe Police Service acknowledged the concerns and impact this type of incident has on the community, especially given the proximity to a school and the presence of children in the area. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all our community members remains our top priority.
They are asking anyone with additional information related to similar events or concerns regarding this matter to contact Police Constable Trevor Pirri at the South Simcoe Police Service at 905-775-3311, or to submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
