Last week, South Simcoe Police responded to a car rollover near 20th Sideroad and Gilford Road in Innisfil.
A witness said two vehicles were involved, one of them rolled over with a woman and two children inside.
When police arrived, a man said he was the driver and was alone.
After an investigation, officers found out he wasn’t involved in the crash and had arrived later in a different vehicle.
Both parents from Lefroy were arrested and charged with several criminal offences.
