Since 2017, the Town of Caledon has made major energy improvements at the Caledon OPP Detachment.
Upgrades include:
Energy-efficient LED lighting
Rooftop solar panels
Improved building control systems
A rebalanced heat pump system
Thanks to these changes, the building now uses 43% less energy, saving nearly 70,000 kWh of electricity and over $21,000 in annual operating costs.
