An Innisfil man has been arrested after shots were fired at a home in Vaughan.
On Wednesday, September 10th, just before 2:00 a.m., police responded to the sounds of gunshots on Lady Angela Lane, in the area of Bathurst Street and Teston Road. Officers responded quickly and attempted to contain the suspect vehicle. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was arrested with the assistance of the Canine Unit.
A handgun was recovered from the scene.

There were no injuries to any officers. The suspect sustained minor injuries.
Through investigation, it was learned a pickup truck driven by the suspect had been stolen from Toronto on Tuesday, September 9th.
23-year-old Kaejean Isaiah Doman of Innisfil has been charged with:
- Discharge Firearm with Intent
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Vehicle
- Dangerous Operation of a Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
There are no outstanding suspects.
Investigators are linking this with two other shooting incidents which occurred in Vaughan last weekend. A third incident is also being considered as potentially connected. The suspect vehicle, a dark-coloured sedan, that was observed in all three incidents remains outstanding.
Investigators are seeking any additional video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured dashcam video on the roadways at that time. Anyone who has not yet spoken to police is asked to please come forward.
