
A Bradford woman has been arrested after a police chase through an Innsifil residential area.
On Saturday, September 6th, at roughly 5:50 p.m., while on patrol, South Simcoe Police observed a green Chevy pick-up truck driving dangerously between Sideroad 20 and Yonge Street on Innisfil Beach Road in Innisfil.
Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, the driver failed to stop the vehicle and continued to drive erratically at a high rate of speed towards Alcona in a residential area. The driver was observed entering a laneway at a nearby residence and eventually coming to a stop. Subsequently, police arrived at the residence and observed a woman on the driver side of the vehicle.
As a result, the 30-year-old woman from Bradford has been charged with:
- Dangerous Operation
- Flight from Police Officer
No injuries were reported.
She’s scheduled to appear in court in October.
