The Nottawasaga OPP has laid multiple charges against a Tottenham man following a fail to remain collision last week.
On Friday, September 12th, shortly after 4:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle being struck from behind on Mill Street East in Tottenham. Police say the driver fled the scene on foot but was later located and returned.
During the investigation, officers determined the driver was impaired by alcohol and placed him under arrest. A 50-year-old from Tottenham has been charged with:
- operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- fail to remain.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Bradford on October 9th.
