Nottawasaga OPP are investigating a break and enter at a business in Adjala-Tosorontio that resulted in the theft of roughly $12,000 worth of tools.
Officers were called to the scene at 4840 Concession Road 7 shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 19th, after suspects fled before police arrived. Investigators say that at around 6:50 a.m., a dark, newer-model GMC pickup truck with a stolen Ontario licence plate, CD49729, pulled up to the business. Two suspects then broke through a contractor door, stole multiple boxes of tools, and fled by 7:01 a.m.
The first suspect is described by the OPP as:
- tall
- medium build
- wearing dark clothing, gloves, and a hoodie with their face covered
The second suspect is described by the OPP as:
- shorter
- medium build
- wearing lighter clothing, a sweater with a John Deere logo, gloves, and a ball cap
Police are asking residents and businesses in the area to review security or dash camera footage from between 6:50 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. that morning.
