
South Simcoe Police were able to arrest a break-and-enter suspect shortly after receiving the initial report.
At around 1:10 a.m. on Friday, October 24th, officers responded to a break and enter in progress at a local Tim Hortons. They arrived within minutes and arrested a 47-year-old man of no fixed address attempting to leave with stolen goods.
Police say the suspects broke into the restaurant’s exterior fridge and freezer, stealing multiple items.
A second male suspect, dressed in dark clothing, fled on foot and remains outstanding.
