High schools across the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) will hold information nights this fall and winter to help Grade 8 students and their families prepare for the transition to high school.
The events offer details on course selections, sports, clubs, extracurricular programs, and student supports, while also giving families a chance to meet staff, speak with student leaders, and tour classrooms and specialty spaces. Students entering Grade 9 for the 2026 – 27 school year are encouraged to attend the session at their designated high school, with dates and times available here.
