Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) is inviting families to ring in the new year together at the 13th annual Family First Night celebration.
The free event features a full lineup of indoor activities, including leisure skating (without skate aids), leisure swimming, inflatable obstacle courses, a toddler area, glitter tattoos, busker shows, crafts, a photobooth, and a caricature artist. Outdoor programming expands this year with activities in Public Square – offering busker shows, live music from Cara Lea & Leo, train rides, an RSR Catering food truck, free hot chocolate courtesy of Tim Hortons (while supplies last), giveaways, and a busker fire show.
“Family First Night is one of BWG’s most cherished traditions, bringing our community together to celebrate the year that has passed and welcome the one ahead,” says Mayor James Leduc. “This event truly reflects the heart of BWG—families, neighbours, and friends gathering to enjoy fun, free activities in a safe and welcoming space. My sincere thanks to our generous sponsors and dedicated staff who make this celebration possible each year. I look forward to ringing in the New Year with all of you.”
Admission is free and open to all. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable items for the Bradford Helping Hand Food Bank, which is seeking:
