BUS CANCELLATIONS: Snow impacting school buses across Simcoe County
A Snow Squall Warning is in place for today:
“At this time, the highest amounts are expected from near Wasaga Beach to Innisfil.
“Snow squalls are expected to persist through this evening before weakening overnight. Snowfall amounts will be highly variable across the area.
“Northwesterly winds gusting to near 50 km/h will result in local blowing snow further reducing visibility.
“Travel will likely be extremely hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Prepare for some disruptions to transportation, services, and utilities.”
