South Simcoe Police are searching for three suspects following an assault in Innisfil.
Officers responded to a disturbance at an apartment building in a retail plaza on Innisfil Beach Road at about 7:20 p.m. on Monday, March 9th.
Investigators say three male youths assaulted an adult victim after tampering with cameras inside a nearby apartment building. During the attack, one suspect brandished a gold expandable baton and attempted to strike the victim while the other two suspects punched him while he was on the ground.
The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being struck multiple times in the face and head. All three suspects fled westbound on Westminster Street.
The suspects are described by police as:
- Suspect 1 – White male youth with brown hair, wearing a black shirt with white writing on the back, black pants, and a red undershirt. He was armed with a gold expandable baton.
- Suspect 2 – White male youth with a thin build and brown hair, wearing a white shirt with black writing, black pants, and white shoes.
- Suspect 3 – Black or Hispanic male youth with a heavy build and curly brown hair, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
