Graduating students in New Tecumseth can now apply for financial support through the Mayor’s Student Bursary Program.
The Town says the annual program offers up to 12 bursaries valued at $2,000 each to eligible students pursuing post-secondary education or apprenticeship training. Applicants are required to submit a completed application form, transcript, references and a 500-word essay outlining their future goals.
“Investing in our students means investing in the future of New Tecumseth,” says Mayor Richard Norcross. “The Mayor’s Student Bursary Program is designed to help young people achieve their educational and career goals, and we are proud to celebrate their hard work and dedication.”
Applications for the program are open now, with a submission deadline of May 4th.
