Nottawasaga OPP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an identity fraud investigation.
A fraudulent identification card containing a victim’s personal information was used to open a credit card at a financial institution in New Tecumseth. Investigators allege the same identity and ID were then used days later to purchase a luxury vehicle in Surrey, British Columbia.
Officers are now seeking assistance from the public in identifying the individual connected to the incidents and gathering additional information related to the case.
