Drivers in Innisfil should prepare for a temporary road closure as Phase 1 of the Killarney Beach Road Urbanization Project is about to get underway.
Killarney Beach Road, between 20th Sideroad and Church Drive, will be closed from April 13th to May 20th, with access limited to local traffic, businesses, and emergency services only.
The project includes upgrades to storm sewers and driveway culverts, regrading of roadside ditches, installation of multi-use paths, as well as road resurfacing and improved street lighting.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, follow posted detours, and allow extra travel time while construction is in progress.
