Officers say the arrests were made Tuesday, April 7th, when members of the Tactical Support Unit attended a residence on Fitton Street in Midland and took three individuals into custody without incident. A search of the home resulted in the seizure of a loaded .40 calibre handgun believed to be connected to the April 5th shooting, where a 30-year-old Barrie man was shot at close range following an altercation outside a downtown nightclub. The victim was initially taken to a local hospital before being transferred to a Toronto-area trauma centre, where he remains in serious but stable condition.

A 32-year-old Midland woman is charged with:
- Accessory after the fact to an indictable offence (attempted murder)
Police say they are not looking for any additional suspects.
Investigators say evidence collected included a spent shell casing, a projectile recovered from a nearby business, and CCTV footage from the downtown area, with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Recovery Unit in Kempenfelt Bay.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with additional information, photos, or video of the incident to come forward.
