Nottawasaga OPP are reminding motorists to slow down after a driver was caught travelling at a significantly excessive speed in Adjala-Tosorontio.
The incident occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15th along Highway 89 near Concession Road 7, where a vehicle was clocked travelling at 144 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.
Police say the driver was charged with speeding and stunt driving for excessive speed. As a result, the individual’s vehicle was impounded for 14 days and their driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days.
