The Town of Innisfil celebrated local business success during its annual Mayor’s Business Breakfast, where the inaugural Innisfil Business Achievement Awards were presented.
More than 120 members of the business community gathered for the event, which highlighted economic momentum across the town while recognizing businesses contributing to growth, innovation, and community impact.
“The Mayor’s Business Breakfast is an important opportunity to come together as a business community—to connect, share ideas, and celebrate the progress happening across Innisfil,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “It’s encouraging to see so many local businesses, partners, and community leaders in one room, all contributing to the continued growth and success of our local economy.”
The newly introduced awards recognized excellence across several categories, with recipients including:
- Innisfil Business of the Year Award: Beauty Brows by Li
- Leader in Growth & Innovation Award: Terralynx
- Workplace Excellence Award: Tarpin Lumber & Truss Inc
- Innisfil Community Impact Award: The Innisfil Pop-Up Market
- DMZ Innisfil Entrepreneur of the Year Award: FilCan Home Care Services
“The Innisfil Business Achievement Awards were created to formally recognize the businesses that are making a meaningful impact across our community,” says Laura Thompson, Manager of Economic Development, noting the winners reflect the strength and diversity of the local economy.
The event continues to serve as a key opportunity for collaboration between the Town and local businesses, with officials highlighting ongoing investments and initiatives supporting economic development across Innisfil.
