A 45-year-old Innisfil man is facing multiple charges following a disturbance at a licensed establishment on Church Street.
According to the South Simcoe Police Service, officers were called at around 6:55 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd after reports of a physical altercation inside the business.
During the incident, a man allegedly yelled that he was known to police and claimed to have a firearm that he threatened to use. No firearm was seen and no injuries were reported.
Officers arrived a short time later and located the suspect outside the premises. During the investigation, police say they found a replica firearm inside the man’s backpack. Investigators also determined the accused was violating an existing firearms and weapons prohibition condition.

The man has been charged with:
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Failure to Comply with Undertaking
- Causing a Disturbance
He is scheduled to appear in court in July.
