Town of Innisfil has released an updated reopening schedule for amenities at Innisfil Beach Park as Phase 1 construction work continues through 2026.
The Town says the phased reopening plan is intended to restore access to popular summer amenities as early as possible while allowing construction to continue safely.
Current reopening timelines include:
- Boat launch — mid-May 2026
- North and Central beaches — mid-June 2026
- Beach volleyball courts — mid-June 2026
- New washroom pavilion — July 2026
- Playground and toddler equipment — August 2026
- Tennis and new pickleball courts — September 2026
- South Beach — mid-October 2026
- New park exit to 25th Sideroad — mid-October 2026
The park will remain open during construction, although temporary closure zones will be in place as work progresses. Substantial completion of Phase 1 is expected by mid-October.
Mayor Lynn Dollin says the Town wants to provide residents and visitors with clear timelines as improvements continue at the waterfront destination.
The redevelopment project at the park, located at 676 Innisfil Beach Road, is guided by the Innisfil Beach Park Master Plan and includes upgrades aimed at modernizing amenities, improving traffic flow, and adding new features throughout the park.
