Barrie Police have laid 11 additional charges against a Barrie man following a child sexual assault investigation and the emergence of additional victims.
Investigators have also examined electronic devices seized during the investigation. On Friday, August 7th, 28-year-old Daniel Tallim was additionally charged with:
- Sexual interference
- Invitation to sexual touching
- Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
- Luring a child (x5)
- Making child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Accessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Tallim was initially arrested in May and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching. At the time, police said they believed there could be additional victims.
Investigators are encouraging anyone with information that has not yet been reported to contact Detective Constable Erica Sinclair or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
The investigation remains ongoing.

Barrie Police have charged a local man in connection with a sexual assault investigation involving a child.
Investigators with the Crimes Against Persons Unit arrested 28-year-old Daniel Tallim of Barrie on Wednesday, May 6th. He has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
Tallim is the sole proprietor of Alpha Martial Arts on Little Avenue and has been involved in the martial arts community in Barrie for several years.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging anyone who may have information or believes they may have been victimized to come forward.
There is no statute of limitations on sexual offences, meaning charges can be laid long after an alleged incident took place. Investigators also reminded the public that a sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature.
