Drivers in Innisfil should prepare for a temporary road closure as Phase 2 of the Killarney Beach Road Urbanization Project gets underway.
Killarney Beach Road is now closed between Church Drive and Corner Avenue until August 12th, weather permitting. Access will be maintained for local traffic, businesses, and emergency services.
The project includes several infrastructure improvements, including the upgrade and replacement of existing storm sewers, driveway culverts, and roadside ditch regrading. Crews will also install new multi-use paths, complete road resurfacing work, and make street lighting improvements.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, follow posted detour routes, and plan ahead when travelling through the area during construction.
Follow along with the project here.
