Georgian College will showcase the work of Cabinetmaking Techniques students during its eleventh annual Student Cabinetmaking Exhibit in Barrie this week.
The exhibit celebrates the craftsmanship and creativity of students in the college’s Cabinetmaking Techniques program and will feature finished woodworking projects created throughout the year.
The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Wednesday, August 5th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Additional viewing will be available on Thursday, August 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The exhibit will be held in The Campus Gallery (Room D140) at the Helen and Arch Brown Centre for Design and Visual Arts on the Georgian College Barrie Campus, located at One Georgian Drive.
The event will include student exhibitors, faculty and staff, industry representatives, community members, and prospective students and their families.
